SunWatchGeneral InformationAlong the banks of the Great Miami River, an extraordinary place hides within a seemingly ordinary setting...SunWatch, the original site of an 800-year-old Native American village. Walk in the footsteps of the Fort Ancient people who built SunWatch and catch a glimpse of their everyday lives as you explore reconstructed houses and structures in their village. Deepen your understanding of Native American cultures with special traveling exhibits, lectures and a tour of the indoor Interpretive Center. Expand your understanding of the Fort Ancient people and experience the heritage of Native Americans with a journey back in time at SunWatch Indian Village/Archaeological Park. SunWatch hosts a variety of events throughout the year for learners of all ages, including several Scout Days, Family Day, and even a Community Open House.
